It was exciting to be involved in the tree planting program at Nancy Bird Walton Western Sydney Airport today. A very productive day with a team of dedicated Rotarians from various clubs within our Rotary District.

For the Readers in the community, why not read with for a purpose.     Join the new initiative from Human and Hope - Chapters for Change Readathon.   We have our own Team  https://chaptersforchange.org/t/rotary-club-of-parramatta

Walking to Cambodia

Once again our club help raise funds for the Walk to Cambodia.    Not only did we provide matching funds, members also participated to personally raise much needed funds.

Meet our latest KIVA loan Recipient. Sajida (from Pakistan) is a 37-year-old, married woman and mother of three children. She has had a tailoring business for many years to support her husband. The fact that if her husband works alone for their family, they will not be able to meet the expenses of the household with the educational needs of the children. That is why she started tailoring at home to support her family well.   Sajida, together with her husband, manages their household while operating a business. At this time, she is working hard to continually provide income for their everyday expenses.
