Folding Blankets
for Overseas

A Rotary Clubs work is never done, especially when it is all hands on deck. Rotary Club of Parramatta Inc enjoy doing their bit for the community and helping out Medishare in folding thousands of blankets to send overseas.

We are pleased to announce that we were able to support Parramatta Womens Shelter to the sum of $3,000 and they were able to purchase televisions for all the new units.

It was exciting to be involved in the tree planting program at Nancy Bird Walton Western Sydney Airport today. A very productive day with a team of dedicated Rotarians from various clubs within our Rotary District.

Meet our latest KIVA loan Recipient. Sajida (from Pakistan) is a 37-year-old, married woman and mother of three children. She has had a tailoring business for many years to support her husband. The fact that if her husband works alone for their family, they will not be able to meet the expenses of the household with the educational needs of the children. That is why she started tailoring at home to support her family well.   Sajida, together with her husband, manages their household while operating a business. At this time, she is working hard to continually provide income for their everyday expenses.
