Weekend in Bathurst

To top off Rotary Club of Parramatta's visits to the Mayfield Gardens, Matt Moran’s Rockley Pub, and a couple of wineries in Bathurst, they had dinner with the three Australian Rotary Health Rural Medical Scholarship recipients. Samantha, Gehena and Christo put down their study books for the night and shared their journeys with the club members over a great Vietnamese dinner at Anam.

We are pleased to announce that all three students will also complete their final year at the Rural Clinical School in Bathurst due to their fantastic experiences.

Meet our latest KIVA loan Recipient. Shahida (from Pakistan) Shahida was living a tough life due to financial constraints. It became very difficult for her to bear the household expenditures with a limited income. She is a 40-year-old married woman who started the business of milk selling in order to help her husband.   She has buffalos for milking purposes. She sells the milk in her area. Her business is doing well enough to pay for her family’s expenses.   She has 5 children. She is a dedicated mother and wants the best for her children.
